El Paso Veterinary Medical Association's Mission Statement

The El Paso Veterinary Medical Association (EPVMA) is a non-profit organization
that promotes the advancement of the profession and the well-being of its members by providing a forum for communication, creating policies, offering services, promoting professional education and serving as the voice for the profession.  The EPVMA's mission additionally includes increasing public awareness about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare and rabies prevention.   The association also financially assists the El Paso Humane Society and other worthy animal organizations in accomplishing their missions.  Lastly, the EPVMA has a liaison with the El Paso City/County Health and Environmental District providing direct input into local public health matters.
